Holy sh*t, we won!
TweetThis past weekend, I was a part of an amazing accomplishment: I was on the team that won this year’s Arizona Treasure Hunt! Don’t know about the Treasure Hunt? Go here to read all about it and check out our winning stats.
For those of you who followed the link and are wondering why the LumberJackAsses (my team) are third and not first, a little explanation is needed. Hunt teams which have previously won two or more times are considered pro teams and are ineligible to win again. This is because winning the Hunt comes with a three-year commitment to participate on the organizing committee. Teams which have won twice and completed six years on the committee are not required to serve anymore and therefore can’t technically “win” again.
We’re pretty excited to have won and proud that the extra effort we put into the Hunt this year really paid off. For the next three years, we’re gonna have a lot of fun putting on an event which we’ve enjoyed for several years now.
Think the Treasure Hunt sounds like fun? Get a team together for next year and see what we come up with!
