Phoenix Actually’s first scavenger hunt = success!
TweetOn Friday night, I took part in Phoenix Actually’s first major event, a Twitter scavenger hunt. Team Heckarad consisted of myself, Tracie, Zach, WO and Tony. The hunt started and ended at the George & Dragon in CenPho and it consisted of taking pictures of various things, then tweeting them via TwitPic or another picture tweeting site.
The evening was complete fun. We spent two hours running around downtown Phoenix, taking pictures of various hijinks and having a blast. For me, one of the best things about the hunt was that it was done purely for fun. We have lots of events in the community which have deeper purposes, such as Phoenix Design Week, Ignite Phoenix and TEDxPhoenix. These are fantastic events which include a lot of socializing in their own right, but sometimes its great to get everyone together for nothing but shenanigans.
The Phoenix Actually team did an incredible job getting this organized and I thank them for a fantastic event!
Next time, Team Heckarad is going to take down The Gold Members! It’s on now…
