TEDxPhoenix: incredible!
TweetPhoenix’s first TEDx was an incredible event! Featuring musical performances, speakers and presentations recorded at main TED events, the entire evening was top notch. Some of the highlights for me were Fredi Lajvardi and his inspirational approach to teaching, Michelle Blades and her amazing music, and Mike Rowe’s cringe-inducing but ultimately thought-provoking presentation from one of the big TED conferences.
I want to extend my gratitude and thanks to Tomas Carrillo and the rest of the TEDxPhoenix volunteer crew for putting on a fantastic event. I really appreciate the hard work and it definitely showed in the quality of this TEDx. I look forward to many more!

The event tonight was pretty cool… didn't know what to expect out of it but I'd say I am happy with the way it turned out… and I'm somewhat interested in having a chicken or two in my yard now lol
Overall, a great inaugural event. I love hearing the Carl Hayden story first hand, and hearing Michelle Blades for the first time (I guess i've been living in a cave, or in my case, an igloo!)
