PodCamp AZ 2009 final thoughts
TweetReally Good Things About PodCamp AZ 2009
- Passion – the passion within the social media community is still growing along with the community itself.
- Cupcakes – Butter & Me‘s mini cupcakes kept appearing as if by magic. It’s like we were at Hogwarts.
- Amp Energy – self-explanatory
- Presenters – I went to some seriously heckarad presentations. Kevin Gawthrope, Jay Baer, Tyler Hurst and Brent Spore were all standouts.
- Community – I love the big events where I can have face-to-face talks with many of the people I enjoy interacting with on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Less-Than-Ideal Things About PodCamp AZ 2009
- The program should have included speaker contact info (web site, blog, Twitter, etc)
- The program should have included the session descriptions in chronological order, and had a separate section for speaker bios
- Texder is great for schedule change notifications, but I would have liked to see a mobile-friendly web page with an updated schedule for each day. Keeping track of all the schedule and location changes via Texder messages was impossible.
Big thanks to the committee, volunteers, speakers and UAT for a heckarad PodCamp! Despite my few gripes, it was a fantastic event and I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication.
