Photocommute: see your city differently
TweetIt’s been over a week since I posted my photocommute, based on an original idea from my pal Nathan. Since then, fellow light rail fans Tony (Light Rail Blogger) and David (PHX Rail Food) have been inspired to post their own.
But you don’t have to be a light rail riding commuter to enjoy creating a photocommute. This is all about stopping to have a different point of view on your commute and capturing that view in photos. Do you drive to work? Take pics while you’re stopped at lights or at a standstill on the freeway. Take pics before you leave your driveway and when you get to work. Heck, take pics in your office! Walking in the door to your desk is a part of your commute.
Do you work at home? Take some pics around your house. Take pics of your backyard where you enjoy working in the beautiful spring weather. Just because your commute is measured in steps instead of miles doesn’t mean you can’t take a different look at your daily routine.
Look around at the beginning and end of your work day and share what you see with us. Tweak your brain just a little bit today.
